This is how I started kayaking, living in Shetland for 10 years never being more than 3 miles from the sea. The possibilities of sea kayaking are endless, from short day trips down the coast from Peterhead to Cruden Bay exploring the Bullers O Buchan to multi-day expeditions camping on remote islands and deserted beaches. Several of our members are keen sea kayakers and will take you to parts that other means of transport just cannot reach. We also have good contacts, and regularly paddle with, the North East Sea Kayakers (NESKy).
